The John Hejduk Garden City

 The site is shaped a square land of 18000 x 18000mm located in the heart of the city environment. There is a main street just in front of my building. 

The bottom floor is a private platform for the client based on the fact that she’s a listener, therefore she requires a quite area of listening to others reflections.

Tower Entry, The plan of this house is designed based on a family of three. The entrance is at the bottom floor, which contains single bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dinning area and living room. 

DESIGN: II  Completely different design but has few similarities in relation to client movement. What I really like about this design is that fact that its able to interpreted my client personality better. The idea of planing around with different forms & shape as part of the building is also an exciting element.

This is an image of where the tower is located on the design. The reason as to why I place the tower on that meeting location because I want my client to be able to hear themselves speak as the tower will reflect that echo sound.

Playing with few lightning idea, If you notice standing from the entrance door, you will be able to see the whole house plan/ opens right to the end wall of the meeting room.

LINDA JOHN (The Client)

Linda John is a very well known woman across the London UK. Born in New York on the 04 January 1986 she is the oldest daughter in the family of 5. Both her mother and father is a full time occupant with dad being a Doctor and the mother is the high judge at Royal Courts of Justice in London. At the age of 7 Linda moved to London with the family due to education reasons and from there she found her strengths towards life. The family Linda was grown up into was very different from an ordinary family. Both her father and mother were fully respected couples around the community due to the fact that they listen to people stories; give professionalism advices and last but not least being able to be there when needed.  With no other room to breathe, Linda had no choice but to adapt to the family life style.  At the age of 18 Linda gained a hobby in helping people, and doing community services. As she was growing to a young adult, her reputation is already being the topic of the conversation. By age 20 Linda was known as a fully respected woman, although he age proves to be slightly young.  As part of growing up into a family of 5 including the mother and the father, Linda had faced many scenarios where couples or family are having an argument and she was often called to sit down with them and be the problem solver. Now as a kind heart person she disliked people going through this tough times and that’s where Linda quickly establish her strengths that she was able to listen to people and people have that much respect to listen to her as a powerful person. As so many people lining up wanting to speak to Linda with their personal problem, she didn’t knew but the hall that she use to operate in was getting very small day by day and she needed a place where she could gather everyone around the community for a talk. From what the parents have told the media, Linda is currently is 26 seeking for a place to call home. A place where she could carry on her father and mother’s footstep till the next generation.
